Ever wondered what is it like being an Echidna. In this Virtual Reality, 360 project we are recording WILDLIFE in Australia's iconic National Parks. We would like our audience to feel like they belong with the wildlife,
be part of the group, almost like having a picnic with them. Here in this sequence an echidna checks you out close up.

This is a rare sequence captured in VR 360 of Echidnas in the wild. The female echidna is followed by several males in a courtship behaviour called echidna love trains.
Love trains can be seen throughout winter which is the breeding season. Males travel great distance sometimes as much as 2 km a day, even outside of their home ranges to follow a female.
Echidnas live a solitary life. They only get together to mate which is usually late winter.
